Design & Colors
The flag is split diagonally from the upper hoist to the lower fly, with gold above and black below.
Gold represents enlightenment, knowledge, and a society guided by ethical principles.
Black represents strength, resilience, and the willingness to face the unknown without fear.
At the center is a hexagon, a symbol of stability and interconnectedness, representing the structured principles that form the foundation of Ethica. Inside the hexagon rests the emblem of the brain-in-hand — a reminder that knowledge should be something we share, not hoard.

The Emblem’s Origin
The brain-in-hand symbol draws inspiration from the idea of empowering others with the most valuable tool we have — our minds. It’s a playful nod to a moment from the 1986 classic The Legend of Zelda, when the old man in the cave says:
> “It’s dangerous to go alone! Take this.”
Except instead of handing over a sword, Ethica’s philosophy hands you a brain — the power to think critically, to question, to create, and to solve problems. Where swords cut, knowledge builds.
